Paints Make a Run for NRHA European Futurity Titles

logoAt the NRHA European Futurity on March 28–April 5 in Kreuth, Germany, two Paints made the Top 10 in the Open Level 3 finals.

Forevergun placed seventh with rider Nina Lill. The 2010 sorrel overo stallion by One Gun and out of ES Sweet Little Start, was bred in Italy by Alice Marinoni. Franz Jaksche owns the stallion, who earned a total score of 211 in the finals.

Additionally, JSE Gunsnroses placed ninth with a total score of 209.5. Ridden by Volker Schmitt, the 2010 sorrel overo stallion by Colonels Smokingun and out of Desert Rosebud was bred by Sergio Elia of Gainesville, Texas. He is now owned by Alexandra Melchert of Germany.

Scores were tight among the top competitors, with only six points separating the Top 10 horses. The Open finals were judged by Ann Salmon, Lara Rina Maiocchi, Dan Huss, Edward Bricker and Enrico Righetti.

Congratulations to all the top horses, especially the Paints, who traveled to Kreuth to compete in this event.
