The Judges Committee uses evaluations submitted by exhibitors and show managers when reviewing judges’ performance. Regular status judges are reviewed once every 3 years. All positive and negative comments are welcome, and will be kept confidential.
To make a formal complaint against an APHA-approved judge, such complaints must be in writing, signed by the complainant, contain alleged rule violations, date and location within 60 days of the show or contest. If a grievance is filed, the procedures outlined in the disciplinary procedures would be followed. (See rules GR-070.A-O. The Rule Book is available online).
Both the Online Judge Evaluation form and Formal Complaint form can be found on the Show Forms page.
