HorseIQ invites youth and collegiate judging teams to the 2017 APHA World Championship Judging Contest

Young horse judgers from around the country can put their skills and knowledge to the test September 22 at the APHA World Championship Judging Contest sponsored by HorseIQ. The contest will take place in conjunction with the 2017 APHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The contest includes collegiate and youth divisions. Awards will be presented to the Top 10 individuals and top five teams for the college division in halter, performance, reasons and overall placings. The youth 18 & under division includes awards for the Top Five individuals and Top Three teams in halter, performance, reasons and overall.

The judging contest begins at 9 a.m. in the Watt Arena, and a boxed lunch will be provided by APHA. The awards ceremony will be immediately following the conclusion of the contest.

The contest entry deadline is August 15, and the entry fee is $35 per contestant; entries must be postmarked by the deadline. All entries received after August 15 will incur a $5 late fee per contestant.
