Get ready to fly your flag and ride for your country at APHA’s 2024 Youth World Games! Entry forms are now available online for countries to pre-enter a team and for potential Team USA members to throw their hat in the ring.
- Why it matters: APHA’s Youth World Games is a unique competition where Youth members compose a team to ride for their country in a unique competition that only takes place every other year. It last took place in the U.S. in 2018. You won’t want to miss the 2024 event, taking place during APHA’s 2024 World Championship Show, June 21–July 7 in Fort Worth, Texas.
To pre-enter your team:
Go to our website and fill out a short form providing basic contact information for the coach and/or team manager. There’s no need to declare your country’s team members today.
- Pre-entering benefits you as APHA can communicate directly with team coaches and managers.
- The final deadline to enter and declare your team members is March 15, 2024.
To apply for Team USA:
Go to our website and fill out the entry form before the deadline on January 31, 2024. You’ll need:
- 60 to 90 minutes to devote to creating a thorough and complete application
- Two letters of recommendation (one personal, one horsemanship)
- A photo of yourself or you and a horse (to be used in Team USA promotions if selected—no selfies please)
- A 2–3-minute video of your riding (submit a YouTube, Vimeo or Dropbox link)
- A credit card to pay the $45 application fee
