About APHA

The American Paint Horse Association is the world’s second-largest international equine breed association. Since it was founded in 1962, APHA has registered more than a million horses in 59 nations and territories. APHA promotes, preserves and provides meaningful experiences with Paint Horses. Learn more at apha.com.

About PAC

Launched in 1990 to reward the diversity of Paint Horses, PAC provides recognition for success earned outside of APHA-approved classes on horses’ lifetime APHA performance records. Through this program, Paints can earn PAC “credits” in Western, English and ranch classes as well as events like dressage, recreational or trail riding, eventing, roping and 4-H competition. These credits accumulate for perpetual and year-end awards.

About E-Shows

APHA E-Shows launched in spring 2020 to provide APHA participation opportunities to exhibitors regardless of location or access to APHA events, as well as to provide critiques from judges and offer a low-stress environment to help practice horse showing. Over 30 classes are offered in APHA E-Shows, and exhibitors can compete with any breed of horse and any location to earn cash, critiques from APHA-approved judges, international bragging rights and PAC credits for enrolled Paints.
