Club Resources

APHA is here to help your regional club thrive, and the regional club resources listed below include additional support and benefits available for you to access all the time. Resources include officer responsibilities and resources for running the club, club benefits including discounts and sponsorship program and marketing tools such as logos and promotional merchandise.

Belonging to a regional club gives members the opportunity to be associated with a world-wide organization that shares the common goal of promoting American Paint Horses. Their individual and club involvement might help positively impact the future of the breed.

Being a chartered regional club provides several additional benefits including access to exclusive discounts.

Insurance Discounts

Regional clubs often find themselves in need of liability insurance for many of their events during the year. APHA has made special arrangements with Specialty Program Insurors Inc. to offer protection to clubs for a number of events, including horse shows and trail rides. For more information, clubs may contact this company at 800-338-3313 and mention that they are an APHA regional club.

Free Membership List

A regional club officer may request one free list annually of APHA members in their governing area. Contact the APHA regional club manager for more information.

Booth Display

We can help you represent APHA at local events with official signage or banners. Here’s how you can get started:

  • Print it Yourself: Download the print-ready pull-up banner file (33″ x 81″ trim size) and order from a printer that can handle this size without stretching or distorting the design.
    • For convenience, consider using the recommended printer below:
      Lone Star Print and Packaging
      Mark Croysdale
      131 E. Exchange Ave., Suite 126

  • Request Signage: If you’d like to request physical signage owned by APHA, make your request by describing your event and the requested type of signage. Include the event dates, and submit your request at least 30 days in advance. Shipping costs are subject to change and the responsibility of the recipient.
  • Create Your Own: Use our free APHA media assets and official logos to build your own designs. Need more image options? Check out assets for purchase here.

Volunteer Recognition

Recognize the dedicated volunteers who make a difference in your regional club! Use our online volunteer recognition form to brag about those who go above and beyond to support your club. Submissions will be shared with the APHA media team for potential use across APHA communication channels (submission does not guarantee publication). You can also download and fill out a printable certificate to present as a tangible thank you for their hard work and commitment.

For guidance, refer to our Regional Club Tool Kit.

Club Officers

The officers of the club should be the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. Other officers may be authorized by the club’s board of directors.

Club Records

All historical records for the club should be maintained by the officers of that club and forwarded each year to any new officers; or they should be maintained for safekeeping in a safety deposit box or other secure facility.
