Continuing education is an essential component for APHA-approved judges. We strive to develop high-quality judges who are able to precisely evaluate and rank entries in a variety of classes, in keeping with rules set forth by the association.

Want to be a horse-show judge? Desire to know what the judges are looking for in the show ring? Participate in Collegiate or Youth Judging Contests and looking for an edge over the competition? The HorseIQ Live is your solution.

Prospective and current judges, as well as collegiate judging teams and exhibitors from all disciplines in the equine industry, are invited to attend. Sessions will cover a wide array of classes, including performance and halter classes for ranch-, western- and hunter-type horses from industry leaders Sandy Jirkovsky, Kelley Wainscott, Jerry Erickson, Andrea Simons, and Terry Thompson.

Pre-Registration is open now until March 1st. Registrations may be submitted up until the start of the seminar. Registration fees vary depending upon the number of seminar days attended and whether your registration is submitted before or after the pre-registration deadline. Prior to 2022, HorseIQ Live, formerly the International Judges Academy, was held at CBC. Instead, this seminar will be hosted by APHA at the APHA headquarters in Ft. Worth, TX .
