Registration is open for APHA’s annual trail ride, which takes place September 12–17 at Fort Robinson State Park in Crawford, Nebraska. Riders will enjoy daily rides across the beautiful Nebraska landscape along with fun evening activities and special events.

Newly elected Executive Committee member Alison Umberger attended her first Fort Robinson ride in 2016, and she chronicled her experience in a first-timer’s guide.

“The week at Fort Robinson was the perfect combination of horse people, history and beautiful landscape,” Alison wrote. “I can’t believe it took me this long to join in on the fun—don’t pass up this unique opportunity provided by APHA.”

The APHA Fort Robinson Trail Ride is limited to the first 100 riders and spots are filling fast; be sure to make your reservation early for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Reservations can be made with a $75 deposit. The ride is limited and fills quickly. Deposits for each ride are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Fee must be paid in full by August 1.
