Texas Stars win 2021 AjPHA Youth Team Tournament contest

APHA hosted the annual horseIQ Youth Team Tournament this past Friday, June 25 during the 2021 APHA World Championship Show. The contest had eight teams competing in up to five performance classes (Showmanship, Equitation, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding and Walk-Trot Pleasure 5-10), Jeopardy and a Knowledge Relay.

After holding a fun-filled day of competition and teamwork, APHA is pleased to announce the following overall winners:

  • Champion Overall Team – Texas Stars
  • Reserve Champion Overall Team – Southwest Washington Paint Horse Club
  • 3rd Place Overall Team – The Best of the West
  • 4th Place Overall Team – Michigan Grey
  • 5th Place Overall Team – Michigan Blue
