Paint Horse Journal rides away with high honors from American Horse Publications

FORT WORTH – Paint Horse Journal, the flagship publication of the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), earned recognition for excellence in editorial and design June 22 at the 2013 AHP Seminar in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

In a field of 758 entries from 104 contestants—the largest group to date—the Paint Horse Journal rose to the top in seven categories in the annual competition for equine-industry publications. Among the magazine’s accolades were three first-place awards and runner-up in the category of General Excellence–Association Publication.

 

“The Paint Horse Journal staff strives to provide our readers with high-quality articles that celebrate Paint Horses and enrich the experiences of the people who love them,” Paint Horse Journal Editor Jessica Hein said. “It’s wonderful to receive industry recognition for our hard work and dedication to the magazine, the breed and our members.”
