Lynn Simons Memorial Halter Futurity slated for 2017 APHA World Show

The Lynn Simons Memorial Halter Futurity, featuring $18,750 added, will take place September 25–26 at the 2017 APHA World Championship Show in Fort Worth, Texas.

This special opportunity takes place as a class within a class—to be eligible for the Lynn Simons Memorial Halter Futurity, an additional $100 class entry fee must be paid and horse must be entered in the respective world championship class. Each class payout will consist of $6,250 added plus 100 percent of entry fees received for the class.

Featured classes are:

  • Amateur Yearling Mares (September 25)
  • Amateur Yearling Geldings (September 26)
  • Amateur Yearling Stallions (September 26)

The Lynn Simons Memorial Halter Futurity is presented in memory of the late Lynn Simons, a passionate halter exhibitor who left an indelible mark on the Paint Horse industry.
