Kelly Herd Jewelry joins APHA as a World Show sponsor

APHA is excited to welcome Kelly Herd Jewelry to our stable of sponsors. Through their World Show sponsorship, Kelly Herd Jewelry will make victory that much sweeter for select exhibitors, providing a $500 gift certificate to the winners of six Breeders’ Trust Pleasure Stakes classes and five Platinum Breeders’ Futurity classes at the 2019 APHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show.

What started as a hobby for founder Kelly Herd in 1983 grew into a successful jewelry store with a full in-house manufacturing and design facility by the 1990s. Now, Kelly Herd designs can be found in more than 700 retail stores and with many more online retailers. Their global footprint reaches to Australia, Dubai, Europe, Asia and South America.

Kelly Herd Jewelry has combined a love of horses with the elegance of gold and silver—this timeless elegance is reflected in the attention given to each design. In addition to creating more than 400 pieces of unique equestrian jewelry designs, Kelly Herd Jewelry can also create almost any custom design.

“Kelly Herd Jewelry has been a trendsetter in the custom equine jewelry industry for more than three decades,” APHA’s Director of Breeders’ Trust/ Breeders’ Futurity Matt Arias said. “It is an honor to have them join our fantastic lineup of World Show sponsors and to be able to offer a select group of champions something a little different on top of an already amazing awards package. I know our exhibitors will be just as excited as we are with the high-quality products designed by Kelly Herd Jewelry.”

In addition to providing gift certificates in select classes at the APHA World Show, Kelly Herd Jewelry will also work with APHA regional shows.

Kelly Herd Jewelry has built a solid reputation in the equine industry and beyond, and they look forward to this new partnership.

“Kelly Herd Jewelry is excited to partner with APHA,” Kelly said. “We’re thrilled to be able to work with such a wonderful organization and not only have a national presence but also work with regional shows.”

The 2019 APHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show takes place September 16–29 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Exhibitors and spectators will enjoy some of the best Paint Horses in the world as they pursue world championship titles in a variety of events, along with world-class shopping in the Colors of the Season Gift Show.
