Ready to learn about the Paint Horse breed and make a positive difference in an industry you’re passionate about? APHA is looking for applicants to join us in Fort Worth, so here is your chance! APHA interns have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the association and all that we do for the wonderful Paint Horse breed. Internship sessions run during the summer and fall semesters, and flexible, year-round opportunities are available as well, so don’t let this experience pass you up!
These opportunities will provide individuals the ability to connect with top-notch professionals in the office as well as in the Paint community at the APHA World Championship Shows. Interns will also be able to connect with APHA members through leadership programming, interviews and more. Don’t worry – you won’t be the designated coffee fetcher. Interns are valued members who produce professional work to help the association grow!
The APHA internship program provides college juniors, seniors or recent graduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience, build their resume, and enhance their professional skills in the equine industry. Applicants majoring in animal/equine science, agribusiness, marketing, agricultural communications/journalism, public relations, business development or related fields are preferred.
