It’s easier than ever before to hire roping specialty judges for your APHA event

The APHA Board of Directors has approved a policy that now allows shows to use association-approved roping-restricted judges for their judged heading and heeling classes, as is allowed for numerous other classes under JU-000.C of the current APHA Rule Book.

The Details:

  • This will make it easier for shows to hold APHA Roping Special Events by allowing them to hire knowledgeable roping judges who might not be fully carded with APHA.
  • To qualify as a judged roping restricted judge, you must be a current APHA member and hold a card with a recognized judged roping organization approved by the APHA.
