Intensions is World Show Breeders’ Futurity Platinum Division Leading Sire of Money Earners

Billy and Suzonne Franks of Cisco, Texas, were all smiles November 10 in the Watt Arena as they accepted a special award in honor of Intensions, the Leading Sire of Money-Earners in the Breeders’ Futurity Platinum division at the 2015 APHA World Championship Show. Intensions is a 2010 red roan overo stallion by My Intention (QH) and out of Barlinkislebeastar; the eight-time APHA world champion was bred by Mark Voegele of Pilot Point, Texas, and purchased last year by the Franks.

“We have been so blessed to have bought a horse of this caliber,” Suzonne said. “It’s exciting that his offspring are doing so well. We feel like he’s going to be a great sire based on what he’s putting on the ground.”

Intensions’ offspring earned more than $11,000 over the course of the 2015 World Show in Platinum Breeders’ Futurity classes.  Shes Intensional won the Platinum Breeders’ Futurity Weanling Mares, and Inferno placed second in the Platinum Breeders’ Futurity Weanling Stallions.
