Get a leg up with an APHA internship

If you’re dreaming of a career in the horse industry, have a passion for Paints, and want to grow your professional skills, an internship at APHA is the perfect way to get a leg up and build your resumé!

APHA is seeking applicants for multiple internship opportunities in Fort Worth, Texas, during the Fall 2020 and Summer 2021 semesters—there’s even flexible, year-round opportunities available. Our interns learn the ins and outs of working at a breed association and gain valuable experience for their resumés, while also forming connections with industry professionals and making a difference in the world they love.

Think you’ll be the designated coffee fetcher? Think again! You’ll be a bonafide member of the team and produce professional-quality work, while also helping the association grow. Plus, you’ll get to meet and mingle with top horses and riders in the Paint community at the APHA World Championship Show and connect with APHA members through leadership programming, interviews and more.

Applicants must be college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with a major in animal/equine science, agribusiness, marketing, agricultural communications/journalism, public relations, business development or related field.

Ready for some real-world experience? Apply today!

The deadline for fall internship applications is June 30.
