CRM Livewire ascends to $5 Million Paint Racing Sire status

Less than a year after climbing into the $4 Million Sire ranks based on offspring earnings, CRM Livewire reached the $5 Million Sire club in 2022.

The 2009 bay tobiano stallion by Cartel Success (QH) and out of Elaina Go Go was bred by Dan Jones and is owned by Dan and Kaye Jones of Kemp, Texas. CRM Livewire raced 22 times, amassing a record of 8-5-2 and earnings exceeding $100,000. He was voted APHA World Champion Running Horse in 2012 and 2013 and won six APHA racing champion titles and two Honor Roll awards in just three years on the track.

To date, CRM Livewire’s get have earned $5.46 million on the track in APHA races. Highest earners include Southern Electric ($320,244), Bully Pulpit ($319,909), Live Moonshine ($269,925), Signs Of Livewire ($217,811), RP Live Wire Dash ($151,343), Reckless Wire ($135,990), JS Runnin Wire ($127,410), Livewires Turnpike ($126,918), Mammy Jammer ($123,763), Hotwiredotcom ($114,526), WB Stevie Nix ($109,789) and The OCS Goldenboy ($103,025). He has 246 foals to date, of which 177 have APHA racing records.
