Buckles Galore—65 Intermediate Classes at the 2023 APHA World Show means more ways to win

Are you dreaming of winning an APHA World Championship buckle? With 65 Intermediate Division class options at the 2023 APHA World Championship Show, you can double your chances for taking home a coveted buckle by entering those classes!

Intermediate classes are offered in select Youth, Amateur and Open events (see the full list below). This year, Intermediate champions and reserve champions take home their very own Gist Silversmith trophy buckles, with more special prizes for the Top Five Intermediate exhibitors in each eligible class.

Are you eligible?

If you answer “no” to the following questions, you’re likely eligible to enter your class’s Intermediate Division at the APHA World Show:

  • Have you placed in the Top 2 at the APHA World Show or AQHA World Show within the last 5 years (2018-2022) in the particular class you’d like to enter (regardless of division)?
    • This includes any world championship, challenge or sweepstakes class. It excludes the Intermediate division, Limited division and Walk-Trot division (unless you’re entering an Intermediate Walk-Trot class)
    • For longe line, both hunter and Western apply.
  • Are you ineligible for the corresponding NSBA Limited Division?

The Details

Entry Fee: Youth – $50 per class; Amateur/Open – $75 per class
