Barrel racers to run for $41,000 added at the 2023 APHA World Show—PLUS world championships & other all-breed money-earning opportunities

Barrel racers know it pays big to ride a Paint, and the 2023 APHA World Show is no exception. Added money worth $41,000 is up for grabs at the Fort Worth, Texas, event—headlined by the popular Paint Barrel Racing Incentive Program Barrel Racing Sweepstakes.

APHA barrel racing events (world championships and PBRIP Sweepstakes) take place July 7-8, with an all-breed barrel race produced by Wild West Promotions on July 9.

We’ve also got 10 world championship barrel racing classes on the schedule for Junior Horses, Senior Horses, Solid Paint-Bred, Amateurs, Amateur Solid Paint-Bred, Novice Amateurs, Youth (13 & Under and 18 & Under), Novice Youth, and Youth Solid Paint-Bred. Plus world championships in pole bending and stake race, too. All Youth world championship classes also pay out up to four scholarships worth $1,275 total in every Youth world championship class. More than $1.4 million in cash and prizes will be awarded throughout the 2023 APHA World Championship Show.
