APHA publications log four championships at 2018 American Horse Publications Equine Media Awards

APHA’s official publications—the Paint Horse Journal and Chrome—continued their winning ways in the 2018 American Horse Publications Equine Media Awards, designed to honor the top magazines serving the horse community. The Journal and Chrome rode away with four championship honors at the ceremony, which took place June 16 in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The 2018 competition, which is for material published in 2017, garnered 823 entries from 108 participating members. APHA took home a total of 13 awards across nine categories in writing and design.

“The Paint Horse Journal and Chrome are leaders in the equine publications community and we’re honored to receive these awards,” APHA Director of Publications Jessica Hein said. “Our magazines are devoted to showcasing the spirit of the Paint Horse community and the Western lifestyle entrenched in our breed; we produce each issue with our APHA members in mind and are always pleased when we can share their stories with an even bigger audience.”
