APHA magazines sweep Livestock Publications Council awards contest

excellence

noun

1. The state or quality of excelling or being exceptionally good; extreme merit; superiority

APHA’s family of publications recently demonstrated its prowess at the Livestock Publications Council’s annual awards contest, which took place July 28 in conjunction with the Agricultural Media Summit July 25–29 in Scottsdale, Arizona. There, APHA’s trio of publications—Chrome, the Paint Horse Journal and Flash—laid claim to 11 awards. Among them, and most impressive, were the first- and second-place awards earned for Overall Association Publication: Chrome won the category, with the Paint Horse Journal finishing close behind in second.

“We are humbled and honored to have our publications recognized for their outstanding quality and content, not only among our equine media peers, but against competitors throughout the livestock publications industry,” Director of Publications Jessica Hein said. “The uniqueness of the Paint Horse breed and the inspiring stories of our members make our job exponentially easier when it comes to creating quality publications and sharing the good news about the Paint Horse industry.”
