2024 Cowtown Reining Classic returns to Fort Worth with $100,000 added

Saddle up for the 2024 Cowtown Reining Classic—the world’s richest Paint reining and all-breed slide, featuring more than $100,000 added plus jackpotted entries. Taking place June 24-27, 2024, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the Cowtown Reining Classic boasts $100,000 in guaranteed added money for both APHA- and NRHA-approved reining competitions. The 2024 Cowtown Reining Classic is presented by Tenda Horse Products and FarmPaint.com.

The Cowtown Reining Classic also features The Run For A Million Non-Pro and Rookie L1 & L2 Qualifier and APHA world championship reining classes, Chrome Cash challenge classes and more. Everyone has a spot to show—Paint, Quarter Horse or other breeds—and no qualifying is required.

Tenda Horse Products and FarmPaint.com have consistently provided support to the reining world since a sister company, ThorSport Farm, trained its focus on reining several years ago. The farm breeds, trains, shows and owns several reining stallions, including Turn Down For What (QH), Smart Cowboy Whiz (QH) and APHA stallion No Smoking Required, who is co-owned by Schmersal Reining Horses. The farm is also home to Jake Ballard Reining Horses.

The Cowtown Reining Classic, presented by Tenda Horse Products and FarmPaint.com, takes place in conjunction with the APHA World Championship Show. Both Regular Registry and Solid Paint-Bred Paints are eligible to compete in Chrome Cash events.

In addition to world championship classes for APHA-registered reiners, including events for Youth age 18 and under that pay out up to four scholarships worth $1,250 total in every Youth world championship class, the Cowtown Reining Classic features:

  • Chrome Cash Non-Pro 3-Year-Old Reining Challenge (NRHA Levels 1-4, Paints only) – $7,500 added
  • Chrome Cash 8-Year-Old & Older Reining Challenge (NRHA Levels 1-4, Paints only) – $5,000 added
  • Chrome Cash Non-Pro 8-Year-Old & Older Reining Challenge (NRHA Levels 1-4, Paints only) – $5,000 added
  • NRHA All-Breed Open/Int. Open/Ltd. Open/Rookie Pro – $4,500 added
