Kick your pre-World Show practice into high gear by reviewing the official patterns that will be used at the 2017 APHA Open/Amateur World Championship Show. The show takes place September 20–October 1 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
This year’s patterns are accessible online via the World Show website on the “Forms” page. Printed pattern books will also be available in the APHA Horse Show Office at the Will Rogers Memorial Center during the show.
Make plans to attend the World Show’s live Ride the Pattern seminar Tuesday, September 19 from 2–5 p.m. in the John Justin Arena. A World Show judge will walk through the horsemanship, equitation and showmanship patterns with volunteer demo riders, offering opinions and recommendations for pattern perfection as well as answering exhibitors’ questions.
