2016 North Central Paint Horse Championship winners triumph at Zone 3 show

The 2016 North Central Paint Horse Championship brought together the best of the best for a celebration of exhibitors at the Rocky Mountain Rendezvous April 6–10. Paint Horse Championship class winners in 15 events took home custom Gist Silversmiths belt buckles sponsored by APHA, and other top-finishers received medallions.

Rocky Mountain Paint Horse Association Treasurer Sue Willard saw joy on exhibitors’ faces as they received their awards from APHA President Susie Shaw.

“The top placing exhibitors in our championship classes were incredibly excited to be recognized at such a prestigious event,” Sue said. “The Paint Horse Championship series provided the participants with a specialized spotlight they might not be able to enjoy otherwise.”
