$125,000 for Youth attending the 2022 APHA World Show

Youth exhibitors will walk away with more than $125,000 in scholarships at the 2022 APHA World Championship Show, taking place June 24-July 10 in Fort Worth, Texas. Up to four scholarships are awarded in EVERY Youth world championship class at the show, and there are 93 chances to win!

  • $500: Class world champion
  • $400: Class reserve world champion
  • $250: Class third-place overall
  • $150: Random selection from class finalists (minimum 4 entries)

Class scholarships are made possible by the American Paint Horse Foundation and its generous donors that include the Rebecca Baker YWS Endowment, Gregg Reisinger YWS Memorial Endowment, Charles Marx YWS Class Endowment and Arizona Paint Horse Club YWS Endowment.

More scholarships are also awarded as special prizes:

  • $500: Youth all-around award winners (Youth 14-18, Youth 13 & Under, Novice Youth, Youth Solid Paint-Bred, Youth Walk-Trot, Youth Ranch, Youth Solid Paint-Bred Ranch)
  • $250: Youth reserve all-around award winners (Youth 14-18, Youth 13 & Under, Novice Youth, Youth Solid Paint-Bred, Youth Walk-Trot, Youth Ranch, Youth Solid Paint-Bred Ranch)
  • $1,000: Robyn Hanna Youth Sportsmanship Award
  • $250: Youth Judging Contest Overall Individual winners (Youth 14-18, Youth 13 & Under)

 

Youth World Show scholarship funds are held by the APHF until requested by the Youth winner and distributed directly to the college, university or trade school for educational purposes. Learn more at apha.com/foundation.
