Racehorses Royal Quick Flash and CRM Livewire hit milestones on APHA Million Dollar Sires list

Royal Quick Flash set a new benchmark for Paint racing sires in 2019, as he reached $7 Million Sire status for lifetime offspring earnings on the racetrack.

The 1996 sorrel overo stallion by Royal Quick Dash (QH) and out of Venice Song (QH) had 23 foals run in 2019; to date, 376 of his 520 registered foals have raced with APHA. His get added $233,610 to his tally in 2019, bringing the stallion’s lifetime APHA earnings to $7.06 million. Royal Quick Flash is owned by Steele Farms Inc. of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

CRM Livewire also had a big year in 2019, with his get earning $958,722. That helped the stallion ascend into $2 Million Sire status and ranking him fifth on the all-time list. To date, CRM Livewire has 142 registered foals with just 78 to race; they’ve earned $2.13 million as of January 1, 2020. CRM Livewire is a 2009 bay tobiano stallion by Cartel Success (QH) and out of Elaina Go Go; he is owned by Dan and Kaye Jones of Kemp, Texas.
