Prepare for blanket season with APHA World Show Sponsor Schneider Saddlery

APHA World Show Sponsor Schneider Saddlery helps deck out APHA members in a number of ways, including through a variety of awards provided as part of APHA’s 2017 year-end awards program, the 2017 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show and the Paint Alternative Competition awards program. And they aren’t stopping there!

This time of year, Paint Horse owners are thinking about bundling their horses in blankets to keep them warm, comfortable and protected from the elements. Schneider’s is ready to help with their exclusive line of blankets designed to give the best fit possible.

One example of their great-fitting blankets is the Fitted V-Free turnout blanket. Designed to fit stock horse breeds—including Paint Horses—the Fitted V-Free turnout blanket provides wither relief that fits sloped-shoulder conformations. By keeping the horse’s conformation in mind, Schneider’s hopes to relieve uncomfortable rubbing and wither pressure for horses with moderate to low withers.

The Fitted V-Free blanket’s neck opening is also customizable with the Adjusta-Fit system, ready to fit any horse’s width, from wide to narrow, while also leaving the mane uncovered. These blankets also come with a double-snap front closure with Velcro assist, as well the option of surcingles or bellybands, to make sure that the blanket stays on your beloved Paint Horse.

Schneider’s created this blanket and other styles with its unique Tekno-Dri technology, which allows the blanket to wick away moisture so your horse stays dry and warm. The Fitted V-Free comes with a warranty of up to five years.

“Schneider’s is proud to be a sponsor of  APHA,” Schneider’s Merchandising Manager Jamie Davis said. “We want to make sure that our industry is around for future generations to enjoy, so sponsoring events like the 2017 World Show and bringing innovative products like the Fitted V-Free style of blankets and sheets to the marketplace is an important part of our commitment to moving our industry into the future.”

APHA Director of Youth and Awards Christine Gillett is thrilled about these new products and the sponsorship as well.

“Our members love Schneider’s products, and I am excited to have the Schneider’s family of products featured in our awards slates for the World Shows, year-end awards and PAC awards programs,” she said. “They have been a staple in the equine industry because of their beautiful and functional horse wear and supplies, and our members appreciate the quality in each item.”
