Madison Wood wins first-ever Halter Million Leading Owner-Breeder-Exhibitor award

Madison Wood of Rudd, Iowa, is the inaugural Halter Million Owner-Breeder-Exhibitor Award winner! She showed her homegrown yearling Trillionaire Diva to a reserve world championship and Intermediate exhibitor championship in Amateur Yearling Mares at the 2022 APHA/WCHA Halter Million.
“We’ve bred horses for over 30 years and this is something we’ve always dreamed of. To be able to do this with a homegrown yearling filly is wonderful,” she said.
Madison knew “Diva” was special when she was born. The 2021 sorrel overo mare is by Trillions and out of Acqui Bella (QH).
“She came out and had a nice, sassy attitude and the look—my dad and I both said she’s going to go on to do great things,” Madison said.
