Flashy reiner takes top dollar at 2018 NRHA Futurity Sale

Chrome brought the cash at the National Reining Horse Association/Markel Insurance Futurity Prospect Sale, which took place December 1 in conjunction with the 2018 NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City.

Shine Colt Shine (pictured above) was the high-selling prospect. The 2016 palomino overo colt by Shine Chic Shine (QH) and out of the Paint mare Gunners Miss Oak sold for $220,000* to Gaynia Revenberg; he was consigned by St-Onge Reining Horses.

Remember, Paints can take home a piece of $40,000 in added money at the APHA World Championship Show as part of the reining challenge classes for 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-year-olds.
