Chrome Cash is très chic at the NRHA European Futurity

Not far from the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, Chrome Cash proved it was très chic to ride Paints at the 2022 NRHA European Futurity, which took place May 26-29 at BO Ranch, France’s “cathedral of reining” near Fontainebleau. APHA’s innovative incentive program awarded more than $10,000 USD in prize money to APHA members and registered Paint Horses at the event which attracted more than 120 horses from 12 countries. Congratulations to the 2022 champions:

  • Stepup For Lil Gun & Johannes Hasenauer: APHA Futurity Open Level 4 Chrome Cash Champion
    The APHA Futurity Open Level 4 Chrome Cash title and $1,179 went to Johannes Hasenauer and Stepup For Lil Gun. The duo marked a 215 for owner Silke Loeffler of Kronach, Germany. Stepup For Lil Gun is a 2018 palomino overo mare by Colonels Lil Gun and out of Step Up And Play (QH).

 

  • AK One Little Gun & Filippo Antonutti: APHA Futurity Non-Pro Level 4 Champion
    Winning $1,088 in Chrome Cash and the APHA Derby Non-Pro Level 4 Champion title, Filippo Antonutti scored a 209 with AK One Little Gun, a 2018 sorrel overo stallion by One Gun and out of RX Dodsons Little Step (QH); he’s owned by AK Quarterhorses, located in Boekel, the Netherlands.

 

  • Genius Of Spooks & Grischa Ludwig: APHA Open Chrome Cash Champion
    Earning a score of 224.5 and $1,551 in Chrome Cash, Genius Of Spooks and Grischa Ludwig (pictured left) were unbeatable, cinching the Sterling Open and becoming our APHA Open Chrome Cash Champions. Genius Of Spooks is a 2016 dun solid stallion by Spooks Gotta Whiz and out of A Spark Of Genius (QH); he is owned by MCM Van Doorne of Hernen, the Netherlands.

 

  • Dance Gotta Gun & Stephanie Blessing: APHA Amateur Chrome Cash Champion
    Scoring 217.5, Stephanie Blessing and Dance Gotta Gun (pictured right) were on fire, surpassing their closest rivals by 3.5 points. Our APHA Amateur Chrome Cash Champions earned $2,079 in Chrome Cash, in addition to their win in the Giannitti Non Pro class. Dance Gotta Gun is a 2016 bay solid mare by Spooks Gotta Gun and out of Dance Little Spook (QH); she’s owned by Grey Stone Ranch GmbH, located in Herbolzheim, Germany.
