APHA World Show expands all-around saddle awards from 9 to 22

More saddle awards, happier exhibitors!

New for 2022, the APHA World Championship Show will award 22 saddles to all-around award winners in an expansion of its World Show awards package. And now, the all-around awards structure is simpler and easier to understand.

2022 World Show All-Around Awards

  • All-Around Open Show Horse

(excludes reining, working cow horse, cutting, roping, mounted shooting, speed and ranch classes)

  • All-Around Open Western Performance Horse

(includes reining, working cow horse, cutting, roping, mounted shooting and speed classes only)

  • All-Around Open English Performance Horse 
  • All-Around Open Solid-Paint Bred Show Horse

(excludes ranch classes; all other classes count)

  • All-Around Open Exhibitor 
  • All-Around Amateur 19-44

(excludes ranch classes; all other classes count)

  • All-Around Masters Amateur

(excludes ranch classes; all other classes count)

  • All-Around Amateur Solid Paint-Bred

(excludes ranch classes; all other classes count)

  • All-Around Novice Amateur

(excludes ranch classes; all other classes count)

  • All-Around Amateur Walk-Trot

Champions receive:

  • Bob’s Saddle certificate (Exception: English Performance receives a Pinnacle Kirkby close contact saddle)
  • 8” x 10” photograph certificate
  • $500 scholarship (Youth divisions only)

 

Reserve champions receive:

  • Harris headstall certificate (Exception: English Performance receives an English bridle)
  • Rod Patrick Boot certificate
  • 8” x 10” photograph certificate
  • $250 scholarship (Youth divisions only)
