APHA saddles up with newest World Show Sponsor Bob’s Custom Saddles

APHA is pleased to welcome Bob’s Custom Saddles as its newest world show sponsor for 2018. Along with providing awards for the APHA Youth and Open/Amateur World Championship Shows, Bob’s will also provide 10 year-end winners with custom saddles as APHA’s year-end award saddle sponsor.

Since 1977, Bob’s Custom Saddles has been in the business of making the finest custom Western saddles that deliver peak performance for the ultimate winning ride. Artisan saddlemakers handcraft each Bob’s saddle to meet each individual rider’s needs and preferences. Every saddle is built from handpicked, top-grain Herman Oak leather, real sheepskin and hand-engraved sterling silver or silver overlay.

Bob’s Custom Saddles takes pride in the quality and craftsmanship of their work, which results in a saddle that stands the test of time and helps produce premier performance. Every detail matters in a Bob’s saddle, and each is truly unique. The saddles crafted at Bob’s are distinctly numbered as they are ordered and throughout production—like Paint Horses, no two are the same!

Throughout the past 40 years of business, Bob’s Custom Saddles has carried 11 of the 18 National Reined Cow Horse Association World’s Greatest Horsemen winners, 24 of 35 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity winners, and 16 National Reining Horse Association Futurity winners to victory—the Bob’s team is looking to do the same for APHA members, too.

“We’re so pleased to have formed this new partnership with the APHA. We want riders to be able to train in a good saddle and then have a show saddle just like it,” Bob’s Custom Saddles Director of Sales Chris Weaver said. “This award saddle program was designed to give riders the ability to train in a saddle they love and then take that same seat and ride and put it into a show saddle, thus ‘show in what you train in, train in what you show in,’ which improves and connects all of their time spent riding.”

APHA’s Director of Business Development, Kurt Crawford mirrored this enthusiasm.

“We are elated to have developed a partnership with such a reputable saddle maker as Bob’s Custom Saddles. We created this partnership to provide riders the opportunity to have a good comfortable saddle that fits many different horses and the ability to want to ride this saddle every day of the week. We hope that when it comes time for riders to buy a new show saddle, they will consider Bob’s Custom Saddles as a viable option.”
