2020 Chrome APHA Member Model Search is open!

APHA members, start practicing your poses—Chrome magazine is looking for you!

The Chrome APHA Member Model Search, back for its seventh year in 2020, features real-life horsemen and -women in styles and clothes that show off their authentic, Western lives. We know our APHA members are beautifully unique, just like their Paint Horses, and Chrome wants to find two APHA members to star in its Winter Fashion Issue. Two top horsemen or -women will be selected as grand prize winners—they’ll receive a starring role in Chrome’s Winter Fashion shoot!

APPLY NOW

Entries are open until May 10—visit the Chrome website for more details and the online application (must be submitted online). It’s easy—answer a few questions, upload a photo of yourself in Western or contemporary wear and tell us what makes you unique. You must be at least 18 years old and a current APHA member in good standing to apply—join or renew today!

A team of Chrome photographers will narrow the field to our Top 10 cowboys and cowgirls in mid-May, and then we’ll let YOU cast the ballot of who should be Chrome’s next top models May 18–24. Winners will be announced on Facebook and APHA.com in early June.

The annual Chrome fashion shoot takes place in early September in Fort Worth, Texas, though specific dates are to be determined. Two grand prize winners are invited to participate in the annual shoot, with travel costs covered by Chrome. APHA and Chrome reserves the right to verify contestant eligibility at any time, and may modify, change or cancel this contest at any time.
