Western Horseman named official sponsor of APHA 4D Fence & Boxing Challenge

In a new partnership, Western Horseman magazine has been named the official sponsor of APHA’s 2018-2019 4D Fence & Boxing Challenge.

The unique event, which debuted at the 2017 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show, features only the cow work portion of the working cow horse sport and is open to all breeds.

Both having stood the test of time, the rugged sport of cow work and the 81-year-old Western magazine go hand-in-hand.

“We are very excited about this new partnership,” APHA Director of Business Development Kurt Crawford said. “The Fence & Boxing event was a new program for us this year and with Western Horseman partnering with us for the next two years we feel we can grow this opportunity into an exciting event well into the future. Western Horseman provides us the opportunity to reach new individuals who can bring interest and excitement to our industry and this event, and we’re proud to call them a partner.”

As part of the deal, Western Horseman also becomes an APHA corporate partner, allowing the two to expand the alliance in several mutually beneficial directions.
