APHA & NSBA partner on horseIQ Equine Business Management Series “Trainer Talks”

Trainer Talks, a new series hosted exclusively on APHA’s interactive learning platform horseIQ.com, brings horse trainers and specialists together to discuss what makes a successful business. The course is a joint effort between APHA and the National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation.

Trainer Talks

The Equine Business Management: Trainer Talks course features a series of conversations between industry professionals on various professional topics, including business basics, billing, contracts, insurance, sales and customer service. New episodes will periodically add to the lineup.

“This project represents a transformative leap forward for our industry,” APHA CEO Dave Dellin said. “Developed in collaboration with the NSBA Foundation, this innovative horseIQ course helps equip professionals with essential skills beyond being a talented horseman or horsewoman. It’s a testament to our commitment to holistic education in the equestrian world, empowering individuals to thrive in every aspect of their equine careers.”

NSBA echoes the sentiment and is proud to partner with APHA on the venture.

“Horse training is an amazing way to make a living, and we want to provide opportunities for young professionals to develop the skills and knowledge they need to build not just a fulfilling career, but the life that they want for themselves,” NSBA Executive Director Stephanie Lynn said.
