Meet the Board: Meredith Landy
Meredith Landy first fell in love with Paints as an 11-year-old in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She found family in APHA, first through horse shows and later as a leader at the regional, state and national levels. In March 2026, Meredith was elected to her second three-year term on the APHA Board of Directors. Plan to run at the 2026 Paint World PBRIP Sweepstakes: $53,000 Added
Last year, over 100 barrel racers clocked times in the PBRIP Barrel Racing Sweepstakes, the World Show’s largest class. In addition to $42,000 added guaranteed in the event’s purse, we’ve got extra added money for the Top 10 fastest horses foaled in Texas and for 4- and 5-year-old futurity runners. Earnings from the PBRIP Barrel Racing Sweepstakes now count for PBRIP year-end awards, too.
