Paints cashed in at the 2026 NRCHA Stallion Stakes, where $18,320 was paid to top-scoring APHA horses through Chrome Cash incentives.
The NRCHA Stallion Stakes showcased elite 4- and 5-year-old horses competing in snaffle bits and hackamores, all sired by stallions enrolled in the National Reined Cow Horse Association’s Cow Horse Incentive Program. It took place April 2–12, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chrome Cash is a unique class-within-a-class competition at select Western performance events that provides exclusive sidepots for Paint Horses, thereby incentivizing owning, breeding and showing Paints.
Non-Pro Derby Chrome Cash winner SJR Sumkinda Mist finished third overall in the Non-Pro Derby finals, cashing in on $12,000 for that bronze win. Will Kane, winner of the Non-Pro Boxing Derby Chrome Cash sidepot, finished fifth overall in the finals, scoring another $2,034.
