Five clubs earn APHA President’s Gold Star & Club of Distinction awards

Five regional clubs demonstrated impressive growth in 2023 to earn APHA President’s Gold Star and Club of Distinction awards.

Eligible organizations must comply with the regional club requirements in Article VII of the APHA Rule Book and hold at least one stand-alone one- or two-judge show. Winners are determined based on their growth score against the previous year, measured by the total number of unique horses, exhibitors and entries at club events and trail rides.

The five award winners below each demonstrated positive growth in 2023:

  • Paint Horse Club Germany: President’s Gold Star Award
  • Michigan Paint Horse Club: President’s Club of Distinction
  • Dutch Paint Horse Club: President’s Club of Distinction
  • Florida Paint Horse Club: President’s Club of Distinction
