Candidates named for 2026 APHA Board of Directors & NLDC elections
The Nominating & Leadership Development Committee is sending six candidates forward for consideration for open seats on the APHA Board of Directors.
Nominees for the Board of Directors are:
- Rachel Kooiker, Hudsonville, Michigan
- Meredith Landy, Winchester, California
- Susan Juroe, Longmont, Colorado
- Mark Reisinger, Eldora, Iowa
- Larry Volkmar, Highland, Illinois
- Adam Wainscott, Sanger, Texas
State directors will vote on who will fill four open Board of Director positions at the 2026 APHA Leadership Gathering & Membership Meeting. The event takes place February 27–March 1, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.
They will also elect candidates to fill two open positions on the Nominating & Leadership Development Committee.
Nominees for the Nominating & Leadership Development Committee are:
- Kelley Wainscott, Sanger, Texas
- Sally Griffin, Tomball, Texas
- Jennifer Barbee, Sanger, California
- Cindy Chilton-Moore, Claremore, Oklahoma
The Nominating & Leadership Development Committee is a dedicated group of individuals elected to present nominations for positions on the Board of Directors and the NLDC. Members include Kelly Boles Chapman, Diane Alves, Mike Holloway, Mark Kuhlwein, John Briggs, Sandy Curl, Delena Doyle, Sheri Grinstead and Helena Ryan.
