Judge Spotlight: John Kunkle
Chairman of the APHA Judges Committee, John Kunkle is carded with APHA, AQHA, NSBA and ABRA. He has judged world championship shows for APHA, AQHA and NSBA multiple times. John and his wife, Jennifer, are also active in horse show management, including serving as arena managers at APHA’s Eastern and Western National Championship shows.

What do you enjoy most about judging?
I enjoy the camaraderie and getting to meet so many new people. I also enjoy getting to see first hand the best horses in the world!
