2025 APHA World Show crowns champs & features growth in select areas

From veteran exhibitors with armfuls of accolades cascading across their stalls to first timers who turned wishes into reality by competing on the world stage, 2025 APHA World Show exhibitors come from all over. What they found in Fort Worth, Texas, was a community built on the dual loves of Paint Horses and world-class competition, ready to welcome them with open arms and cheer as dreams came true in Cowtown. More than $1.6 million in cash and prizes were up for grabs at the 2025 APHA World Championship Show. The show boasted notable growth in its Open and Novice ranch classes, the Amateur Walk-Trot divisions, the Youth Futurity Project and PBRIP barrel racing sweepstakes.

The premier Paint show also hosted the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Western National Finals, National Reining Horse Association-approved Cowtown Classic & All-Breed Slide reining event, the American Rope Horse Futurity Association’s Cowtown Classic roping futurity, an all-breed barrel race, Two Ravens Foundation Veterans Slide, and the Heroes on Horses parade and competition in partnership with the National Snaffle Bit Association. The championship took place June 20–July 6 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
