Markel/APHA Professional Horsemen shine at 2024 Paint World
APHA’s Professional Horsemen members are talented, dedicated and upstanding members of the Paint community; many achieved notable success at the 2024 APHA World Championship Show, both directly and via their clients.
John Briggs, a Markel/APHA Professional Horseman from Pilot Point, Texas, earned several championships at the show and trained the All-Around Open Ranch Horse winners, Rosie Jonez and Lil Bit Shiny.
“The 2024 APHA World Championship Show was definitely that—a championship show in every way,” he said. “From the professionalism of the APHA staff, the friendliness of the exhibitors, the excellence of the judges to the fierce competitiveness of the event—everything there made our jobs as Professional Horsemen easier and more rewarding. We’ve always loved the Paint World, and this summer was no different—it’s always like coming home for our family!”
