Execute claims 2025 Breeders’ Futurity Leading Halter Sire award
By Kinley Humphries
At the conclusion of the 2025 Halter Million, Execute was named the APHA Breeders’ Futurity Leading Halter Sire, based on money earned by his foals in both the Gold and Platinum divisions. APHA’s Breeders’ Futurity program gives horse owners, nominators, and stallion owners the chance to earn cold, hard cash with Breeders’ Trust-nominated foals. These classes take place exclusively at the APHA World Show and APHA/WCHA Halter Million events annually.
The 2025 Platinum Breeders’ Futurity division saw a payout increase of almost $5,000 over last year, bringing the total 2025 payout to $326,150 in Non-Pro weanling and yearling halter classes.
