The Tobiano Loot bonus incentive rewards the highest-scoring tobiano and tovero horses at the APHA World Championship Show; it’s offered in select world championship ranch, reining and working cow horse classes. Eligible horses at the 2025 World Show were automatically eligible for a $500 bonus payout in their respective divisions.
This year marked five years of private donors who make the Tobiano Loot bonus possible at the World Show. We are grateful for their continued support:
- Secret Hills Ranch/Peter & Missy Benker (ranch & reining)
- Heartbreak Ridge Performance Horses/Kelly Pinkston, D.V.M., & Skip Rulen (working cow horse)
Congratulations to our 2025 Tobiano Loot bonus winners!
- Ranch: Smart Special Color, a 2009 bay tobiano gelding by Color Me Smart and out of Very Special Peppy (QH); he’s owned by Desirae Gibbs of Ennis, Texas.
- Reining: Oaks Lectric Gun, a 2009 bay tobiano gelding by Colonels Lil Gun and out of Oaks Lectric Belle; he’s owned by Josie Lynn Dilworth of Monroe, Oregon.
