Winners named in 2025 Chrome APHA Member Model Search

You spoke, we listened: APHA members Ella Blunt and Jody Brooks are the 2025 Chrome APHA Member Model Search winners. These ladies, selected by popular vote, will be featured in the 2025 Chrome Winter Issue to highlight the uniqueness of our APHA members.  

Ella Blunt  

A New York native, Ella has been a leader in her local equine community for many years. From serving in local leadership positions to her title of Miss Teen Rodeo New York in 2022, she is no stranger to serving others in and out of the arena. Grateful for the experiences and the connections she has made, Ella is honored to serve as an ambassador for the Paint Horse breed. 

“My passion for horses and ambassadorship has endured throughout my life,” Ella said.

Jody Brooks 

Jody credits much of her success in the equine industry to her first horse “Colt.” She says Colt helped raise her and her sisters, and she fondly looks back on memories made with the tobiano gelding. Now living in Lipan, Texas, Jody competes with a Paint cowhorse, and she is excited for the opportunity to represent APHA through Chrome magazine. 

“There is nothing better than a beautiful Paint!” Jody said.  

Starring Role for 2025 Chrome APHA Member Model Search Winners 

The initial model search received 42 applications which was then narrowed down to the Top 10 finalists by Chrome staff. Voting was open to the public in late May, and Ella and Jody earned the highest number of votes of out a total of 1,133 cast. 

Both winners receive an expenses-paid trip to participate in Chrome’s 2025 Winter Fashion Issue shoot in Fort Worth, Texas. Watch for Ella and Jody in the Winter 2025 issue of Chrome magazine.
