Edited press releases from Remington Park
Two records fell at Remington Park on May 31, 2025, with Dee Keener and JC Speeding setting new benchmarks for track performance during the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity.

Dee Keener
Remington Park Record – Most Races Won in an AQHA/APHA/ApHC Season
Capturing wins in both the Speedhorse Graham Stakes and the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity on May 31, APHA trainer Dee Keener broke the Remington Park track record for most wins by a conditioner in a single season. Dee logged 54 wins at Remington this spring to earn the title, passing legendary race trainer Eddie Willis’ 2011 mark for most wins in a season.
Dee, who is from Inola, Oklahoma, was thrilled to set the record, which came when JC Speeding won the 2025 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity.
“I’m really happy,” Dee said. “To surpass Eddie Willis, who is a great horseman, I’m really happy. I thought [JC Speeding and Turbulent] would both run good. This is a nice colt.”
This was the fourth year in a row Dee has won the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity and the seventh time overall, another Remington Park record for this stakes series. It was his fifth victory in the Speedhorse Graham Stakes.
