CRM Livewire takes over Paint Racing Millionaire Sires list

CRM Livewire takes over Paint Racing Millionaire Sires list

Powerhouse sire CRM Livewire took over the Paint racing millionaire sires list in 2024, becoming the No. 1 lifetime leading sire of Paint racehorses by money earned.

CRM Livewire quickly ascended the list following his first crop’s racetrack debut in 2017. To date, he’s the sire of 284 registered offspring, with 220 earning racing records of their own. In 2024, offspring added more than three-quarters of a million dollars to his progeny total, bringing it to $7,575,990. That effort helped CRM Livewire leap-frog Royal Quick Flash and take over the No.1 spot.

CRM Livewire raced from 2011–2013, earning two APHA world champion running horse titles, more than $100,000 in lifetime earnings and a cumulative record of eight wins, five seconds and two thirds in 22 starts. Dan Jones of Kemp, Texas, bred the stallion, and Dan and wife Kaye owned him until 2024, when CRM Livewire was sold to Bryan Hawk of Purcell, Oklahoma. The 2009 bay tobiano stallion is by Cartel Success (QH) and out of Elaina Go Go.
