Equine Health course added to horseIQ
Boost your confidence in managing your horse’s care with a new Equine Health course added to horseIQ.com, APHA’s interactive learning platform.
Learn from Equine Health Experts
Experts from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Valley Vet Supply, Certified Horsemanship Association, Boehringer Ingelheim and the Paint Horse Journal joined resources for this new Equine Health course. It provides detailed guidance about caring for your horse, including first aid, common diseases and conditions, internal parasites and routine care. Each section addresses symptoms, prevention, management and treatment, along with when to call in a professional for extra assistance.
“This course is a shining example of collaboration between industry experts to provide horse owners with valuable information,” horseIQ Administrator Elizabeth Lawhorn said. “We are thrilled to have such supportive organizations and sponsors contributing their expertise to create valuable content. This course will enhance horse owners’ ability to provide top-notch care for their animals through quality education.”
