AjPHA regional clubs bring AjPHA to you at the local level. AjPHA regional clubs serve to provide an educational and social organization for youth members who share a common interest in Paint Horses. Clubs are also known for having a friendly atmosphere, a high regard for their members and promoting family values.
These clubs are as diverse as the Paint Horse, but they share common goals of educating the public about APHA and AjPHA, encouraging Paint breeding for conformation and athletic ability, providing an opportunity to show Paints and hosting social events and other activities for those who don’t want to compete, all while staying close to home. Becoming a part of one or beginning a junior club can be a great benefit and a way to continue to grow an existing adult club. Get involved today!
Find a regional club youth advisor near you! A youth advisor is an adult who oversees the Youth program of a regional club. They are the liaison between the APHA regional club, the youth members, & the APHA director of youth activities. Youth advisors also support all youth programming and activities for their regional club.
The individuals listed below are youth advisors by state and country. If your state or country is missing, start a club today!

The purpose of the AjPHA Club of the Year award is to recognize outstanding AjPHA regional clubs. AjPHA regional clubs serve to provide an educational and social organization for Youth members who share a common interest in Paint Horses. AjPHA regional club activities should be organized by the Youth members and supervised by an adult youth advisor. Clubs should work to serve their communities, provide social and educational activities for Youth members, promote APHA and provide an outlet to educate youth members about responsibilities they will encounter in the equine industry and throughout their lives. If your AjPHA regional club exemplifies all of these attributes, you can nominate the club for the AjPHA Club of the Year!
The winning club will receive a $1,000 donation for their efforts.
Applications open in late October, and all materials must be submitted by December 1.
AjPHA is proud to have the From the Heart award, sponsored by Markel Insurance.
