Pink Buckle goes Chrome in 2023, thanks to PBRIP

Seventeen Paints took their shot at almost $5,000 in the inaugural Chrome Buckle Powered by PBRIP at the 2023 Pink Buckle Barrel Race, October 2-8 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. More than $4 million was paid out in full at the Pink Buckle this year.

Sissie Wherrell of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Good As Bully Gets were the PBRIP Chrome Buckle 1D average champions with a 34.964. They also won the 2D Premier Pink Round 1. “Incredibly, our APHA members can now run for even more money at the Pink Buckle just because they own a registered Paint,” Director of Racing & PBRIP Carly Peercy said. “Thank you to the Pink Buckle family for this opportunity. I’m excited to see what the future has in store. It’s definitely a great time to own a Paint Horse!”
